Meet Gary and Teri Schultz  schultz family

Gary grew-up in Richmond, MI where he and his Mom, Dad, Sisters and Brother, Grandmother, Grandfather, Aunts, Uncles and cousins attend St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. I also attended St. Peter’s Lutheran School from kindergarten through seventh grade. Our family moved to Stockbridge, MI in 1966 and joined Trinity Lutheran Church. I had taken catechism classes at St. Peter’s Lutheran School in sixth and seventh grade but since I was now attending Stockbridge Public Schools, I finish my catechism classes on Saturday mornings, which were taught by Rev. Dr. W. Harry Krieger. I was confirmed May 14th, 1967 at Trinity Lutheran Church. I met Teresa Pennington in 1972 and we both went to college in 1974. I proposed to her and she began taking catechism classes from Rev. Dr. David Buegler. Teri and I were married by Rev. Dr. David Buegler and Rev. Allen Cobb at Ella Sharp Park, Jackson, MI July 3rd, 1976. We had our first child, Jonesta Marie on May 6th, 1981 and our second child, Ashlee Elizabeth July 12th, 1990. Both daughters attended Trinity Lutheran School. Jonesta is baby cash schultzmarried to Michael Kimble and they have three children - Eli, Lilly and Laylah. Ashlee is married to Adam Evans and they have two children - Jude and Cash.

I co-own Aspen One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning. I started Heat for the Holiday’s where our company has given over 50 heating systems away since 2003. I have served at Trinity as an usher for many years, as well as on Christian Life Commission, Physical Properties, Calling Committees, Executive Board, and Church President. Teri and I are currently serving as greeters. Teri served on Cotta Guild for many years and summer Vacation Bible Schools.

We feel very blessed to be part of a Christian family such as Trinity Lutheran for all our memories when our children attended Trinity Lutheran School that helped them grow-up to be God fearing adults, as well as watching our grandchildren grow up in faith.
