As a church, we are committed to honoring the health guidelines and suggestions being set forth by the CDC along with our local, state, and federal governments. The below are additional measures being taken as we carefully reopen our building for in-person gatherings.
Livestream - We will continue to Livestream the service for those who cannot or desire to not yet attend in person. We are encouraging our at-risk members to continue to worship from home for awhile if you are able, but know that this is your decision. We are most concerned for your health.
Social Distancing - Ushers will seat congregants, keeping a six-foot distance between different families and/or individuals. In addition, we ask that all attendees also honor social distancing protocols during their time on the property. Congregating in the narthex before or after worship will not be allowed for now. As you leave the sanctuary, please continue out the doors to your cars.
Facility Cleaning/Disinfecting - Cleaning of the facility has and will continue to take place at a level at or above all guidelines set forth by the CDC, including but not limited to all surfaces in the sanctuary, narthex and restrooms. Hymnals, attendance folders and all other paper/pencils will be removed from the pews to ease cleaning and reduce contamination.
Touchless Experience - Our team has worked hard to ensure that services are, for all intents and purposes, 'touchless'. If you choose to worship with us in person, you won't have to open doors or pass offering or record your attendance. There will be no handouts at any time. While with us, we also ask that you respect one another's social distancing preferences by not assuming someone wants to hug or shake hands.
Staff & Volunteer Screening - All staff & volunteers will undergo temperature checks & COVID-19 screening questions before serving. In addition, staff who will be in close contact with large numbers of visitors will be required to wear a mask.
Face Masks and Hand Sanitizer - Facemasks will be required until the State requirements for COVID are lifted. If you have one, please bring it with you. We will have spares available for those who don’t. Hand sanitizer will be available.
Restrooms - The lower level Fellowship area will be closed off for now, including those rest rooms. The rest room in the Narthex will be open.
Singing - Because singing tends to spread germs more than speaking, the Worship Team will provide the music, but there will be no congregational singing
Coffee - Coffee will not be served, however, please feel free to bring your own.
Communion - Starting in August, pre-packaged communion will be available for you on the way in.
IF YOU HAVE A FEVER, ARE EXPERIENCING ANY COVID-LIKE SYMPTOMS, HAVE TRAVELED TO A HOT SPOT OR HAVE BEEN IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO SOMEONE WHO IS EXHIBITING SYMPTOMS OR HAS TESTED POSITIVIE FOR COVID-19, WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE JOIN US ONLINE FOR SERVICE.
