Meet Tim and Kathy Frusti
They have two grown children and one granddaughter. Tim is retired from Trinity and currently works at the Jackson District Library. He plays the organ at church and leads a men’s Bible study, currently online. Kathy is teaching grades 1 & 2 at Trinity Lutheran School. She leads a women’s Bible Study, currently via Zoom. They both enjoy gardening and keep active with classes and workouts at the Y.
We are both born and baptized Lutherans. God brought us to Trinity in 1985.
A fun fact about God’s direction- we were looking for a call to Michigan to bring us closer to family. Kathy worked with the sister-in-law of a couple who had just turned down Trinity’s call. She told them to give Trinity our names. After a phone interview by Glenn Erber, a call meeting, the blessing of the Holy Sprit and here we still are, 35 years later. When receiving a call, we always pray that God will “make His will obvious.” Trinity’s call seemed ideal - calls for both of us and less than a two hour drive from our families. We were warmly welcomed into God’s family at Trinity. The people of Trinity have become an important part of our family, just like the biological family we wanted to move closer to.
