Trinity Lutheran Ministries – our church, school and child care – has been an important part of our family’s lives for more than 40 years. The congregation has fed us spiritually and been our extended family, and the school has cared for our kids and grandkids, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Trinity has been here through health issues and emergencies, through weddings, baptisms, anniversaries, and now even into retirement.

And as we turn our gaze forward and find new ways to share the Gospel with our children and our neighbors here in Jackson, we are supported by more than one and a half centuries of God showing us that He is with us, every step of the way. Just as he has been every day of the past.

Jesus calls us to serve and encourage one another as a way to be life-giving. So we get to turn right around and share our many gifts with other people.

This is a church. But it’s also not a church. If this building were all there is, Trinity Lutheran Church would not exist. Because as beautiful as Trinity is, with those great stained glass windows there in the sanctuary and the really nice organ we have, a church is not a building. A church is people.
