Lutheran Women's Missionary League LWML is an auxiliary organization with the Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod. They strive to develop the spiritual gifts of women through fellowship, Christian growth and mission service.
How do we partner? Trinity members participate by collecting their loose change at home, bringing that change to the Mite Collection box in the church lobby and then that money is sent to the Michigan District and the National LWML to support all mission grants chosen at the respective conventions. Pick up your Mite Box on the counter in the church lobby. Additionally, our Cotta Missionary Guild also works to support and further the objectives of the LWML. Michael and Naomi Ersland Michael and Naomi Ersland are following God's call to serve in Tanzania. After a period of language and culture learning, Michael will provide training and mentoring for multiple translation teams. Naomi's management of the family, children's education and daily life will extend beyond the house as she builds relationships and walks alongside neighbors. Both Michael and Naomi appreciate learning from the local church as God's Word is used to celebrate life's joys and mourn life's sorrows. The Word becomes alive and active from new perspectives as language, culture, and faith interweave into a local fabric. They previously served in Ghana with the Komba Old Testament translation project for almost a decade.
Trinity is the church that Naomi grew up in.
How do we partner?
Trinity is a prayer and financial partner with Michael and Naomi

David and Joyce Erber For 39 years, Rev. David and Joyce Erber have served the Lord through The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod (LCMS) in Africa. "On July 31,2025 Joyce and I left Ghana and moved back to the USA. Leaving was hard. It meant lots of hugs and tears and sitting down for precious moments with many people. It also meant a lot of hard work to pack and to make sure everything was in order to leave our home of many years. The last "good-byes" were the hardest! A group of special people kept a vigil-like presence at our house for the last two days until we left.
Trinity is home for David and Joyce.
How do we partner?
Trinity is a prayer and financial partner with David and Joyce.
