No sewing machine or sewing experience is required as there are many steps in the quilt making process. Bring a smile and sense of humor. Then plan to have an enjoyable morning of fellowship and production! We meet at the church. Enter the church through the red doors and take the steps down to the fellowship hall.
During COVID quarantine, 160 quilt tops were sewn at home! Now its time to assemble them!
2021 COVID Cautions include: 25 or less in attendance, Facemasks and Social Distancing required. No food or drink.
Lutheran World Relief (LWR) is an international non-governmental organization that focuses on sustainable development projects and disaster relief and recovery.
Trinity Women aid in the LWR efforts by collecting fabric remnants and piecing together quilts and backpacks filled with school supplies to be distributed to people in need around the world.
Additionally, some of the quilts made are distributed locally here in Jackson to those in need.
In 2018 Trinity women of all ages sewed and donated 180 quilts to missions!
